5 EASY ways to get a bigger bootie

I'll be the first to admit having a big ol' butt isn't always what it's cracked up to be. Often times, big booties are accompanied by chichos, cellulite, and saggy barrigas. However, that doesn't mean there isn't anything you can do to change that. If you want to attain a big butt without gaining a gut, here's what you have to have to do:

1. Stop jogging. Jogging on a treadmill at a steady pace will get you nowhere fast. Try walking at an incline of 8 or higher instead. Doing so will force you to engage your hamstrings (the backs of your thighs) and glutes, as opposed to your quads (the fronts of your thighs). Also, because walking uphill is much more challenging than walking or jogging on a flat surface, you'll force your heart to work harder and in turn burn more calories.

2. Jump! Jump! Plyometrics, a.k.a. explosive exercises pack a one-two punch. They torch calories and burn belly fat during and after your workout, which is nice enough as it is. But they also activate the fast-twitch muscle fibers, improving muscle tone, power, and stamina.

3. Pick things up. Then put them down! Contrary to popular belief, weight lifting won't turn you into the hulk. Pfft! Believe it or not, pumping iron can actually help you attain the feminine curves of your dreams. For instance, performing weighted squats and lunges will help you replace jiggly booty fat with lean muscle, making your butt appear rounder and firmer. Bonus: the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn at rest.

4. Wooosah! When you're riled up you body releases cortisol, a stress hormone which aids in the accumulation of belly fat. Ain't nobody got time for that. To keep stress at bay, consider practicing a little yoga. It'll help you loosen up and build mental and physical fortitude.

5. Eat MORE! Protein, that is. Protein helps build lean muscle, which will in turn incinerate calories and burn belly fat, leaving you with a flat tummy and toned and taut booty!
