One look at Evelyn and you'd never in a million years guess she just had a baby. She hasn't just slimmed down. She's as toned as a rock. What's her secret? "When you workout hard, you can play harder," is the caption to one of Evelyn's Instagram photos. In August she had already lost 42 lbs. So I can't even imagine how much she must have dropped by now. Wow. I am SO impressed!
"For goodness sake, I gained 45 pounds and weighed in at 193 pounds! Immediately lost 10 pounds when my son was born, and that left me with 35 more pounds to lose," she said in a blog post for OK! magazine. Want a bubble butt like Evelyn's? Here's a few things you can do!
Eat clean: First thing first, you want to make sure you're eating clean. "Try to eat lean protein, fresh fruit, veggies and grains. Yes, it sounds boring, but if you want your body back, you have to eat right," she wrote. "Keep in mind that your body is trying to repair itself. And please drink 64 ounces of water per day."
Do weights: If you want a more toned butt, then you need to start lifting weights. Weights help build muscle. "I love weight training and if you want to speed up your metabolism, I suggest you pick up your weights. Besides, speeding up your metabolism, this will help get you back strong. I like kettlebell weights for squats. Start off with ten pounds and work your way up.
Do lifts: Not ready to use weights? Then keep it simple, certain aerobic workouts do wonders for perking up your butt. Get down on all fours with your knees directly under your hip. Do ten reps of ten lifts.
Do cardio: Certain cardio exercises don't just slim you down but also tone up your butt. Hit the elliptical or climb the stairmaster for at least thirty minutes during each workout. Even running can make a big difference.
