An 8-year-old Indian boy is baffling all his doctors with his hands. Not only was the child was born with hands twice the size of most babies, but over the years they've continue to grow to massive proportions and are now bigger than his head! They each measure 13 inches from the base of his palm to the tip of his middle finger and together weigh nearly 30 pounds. See the incredible photos of these giant hands below.

Kaleem has suffered through teasing due to his deformity and doesn't go to school for fear of frightening the other children or continuing to be beaten by bullies. Even the school's headmistress said they cannot be held responsible if the other children bully him! The family can't afford to get him treatment and are currently trying to fundraise money to give their son a chance at a normal life. His mother, Haleema, said she feels powerless in her quest to help her son and his father, Shamim, feels guilt over not earning more money.
The child, who loves cricket but has difficulty playing the sport, also shared what a struggle it is to do simple tasks like getting dressed and feeding himself. His parents worry that he'll never become independent and still, like the child he is, Kaleem is frightened by the idea of being put under for an operation or facing a big needle. Local doctors say it's a rare condition while another physician near Delhi said Kaleem could be suffering from lymphangioma or hamartoma–both treatable–but would require more tests to be completely sure.
Therein lies the problem as Haleema and Shamim only make about $25 dollars a month to sustain the family, which also has other children without the rare condition. The photos show a young smiling boy who wants to join in on activities and play even if his hands make it difficult for him to participate. It's an unfair story made even sadder by the idea that Kaleem's condition could be treated if his family had the access and funds to the right medical care.
