It's National Salsa Month and to celebrate, we're not only bringing you this recipe, we'll also be posting a mouth-watering salsa every Friday. This one is unique though. Where do you stand on the whole sweet and spicy in one bite thing? As in foods that are both sweet ands spicy at the same time? Me, I'm really into it. It could be from growing up in a Mexican family where fruits are often served with a sprinkling of chile. Ahhhh, just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Seriously, if you haven't tried the combo, please don't knock it.
I mean if you think about it the whole spicy sweet thing has gone pretty mainstream. You can walk into just about any food store nowadays and find a jar of something along the lines of a spicy mango salsa and it's good. Here's a recipe for a creamy spicy mango salsa that will serve you and your family well this spring and summer. Check it out!

Creamy Spicy Mango Salsa
Ingredients
1/4 cup Ragu® Old World Style® Pasta Sauce
2 Tbsp. light mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. chipotle chili powder
1 large ripe mango*, peeled and chopped
1 small red bell pepper, chopped (about 1 cup)
Directions
Combine pasta sauce, mayonnaise and chili powder in large bowl. Stir in mango and red pepper. Serve, if desired, with tortilla chips.
*SUBSTITUTIONS: Use 1 package (10 oz.) frozen mango, thawed and chopped, instead of fresh mango. Also, try using regular chili powder instead of chipotle chili powder.
