I love ice cream–and not just in the summer. For some strange reason, I find myself craving ice cream even when it's cold out. Oh, who am I kidding? I love ice cream all year long. I love all the basic flavors, but I'm also a fan of Latin-inspired ice cream flavors.
There is something blissful about the creamy texture of ice cream. Yes, it is food, but it is also an experience. Why not make it even more of an experience by making some of your own? If you've never done it don't be intimidated, it's totally doable. Big plus of making your own is that you can choose all sorts of flavors or flavor combination. The sky or your freezer is pretty much the limit.
