Woman got rid of her stretch marks in two weeks & you have to see how she did it

We're fortunately living in a day and age where stretch marks have become a lot more accepted. They were once associated with so much shame, but now women are showing them off with pride. However, that doesn't mean we're judging the women who do decide to have them removed. In fact, one woman on Reddit miraculously removed hers in two weeks and has everyone on the internet shook.

The woman claims to have used a dermaroller only on her left thigh. She shared a picture to Reddit comparing the leg that received the dermaroller treatment and the one that did not, and the results are mind-blowing.

The woman used the dermaroller only twice on her left thigh.

I’ve only done two sessions with a 1.5mm roller and thought I couldn’t see any improvement until I saw this angle,” she wrote. She then waited two weeks before dermarolling the thigh again.

But here’s the thing:

A dermaroller is made up of needles that are designed to poke tiny holes in your skin to help remove dead skin cells, fade scars, marks, dark spots or hyperpigmentation. They also work to smooth skin and boost collagen production. BUT because it uses needles and because it’s essentially poking holes in your skin, it can also lead to damage and infection if you don’t know what you’re doing.

Your dermaroller has to be fully sanitized.

It’s recommended that you cleanse your dermaroller with rubbing alcohol after every use and store it in a sanitized plastic bag to avoid contamination which can lead to bacterial infection. Your dermroller also has to be replaced, like at least once a month if you’re using it often.

The quality of the dermaroller matters.

Look for one that’s high quality with good reviews; it's also recommended that the needles are 0.3 mm or lower. The woman on Reddit went for a larger needle size. She ordered the Micro-Needle Face & Body Derma Roller 3-Piece Set + VitaminC + Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($65). But still, do your homework!

Micro-needling for stretch marks is a real thing.

We recommend consulting with a doctor first or possibly looking into treatments offered at reputable medical spa before trying it at home.
