WATCH: Beauty blogger uses a fidget spinner for perfect contouring

God, I love the internet. Every time you think you've seen it all, something crazier surfaces like beauty bloggers doing their makeup with condoms or boiled eggs. Enter the latest makeup application hack: the fidget spinner. That's right, the toy every kid can't get enough of these days is now being used to help contour. Makeup artist James Charles did it and it's pretty mind-blowing.

If you have kids, chances are you've heard of the fidget spinner. It's like the biggest toy craze right now. Even adults are into it. The science behind it is that it spins and allows you to do what you need to do without fidgeting. Catherine Hettinger, the woman who invented the spinner (who isn't making a dime from it, by the way), created it as a treatment for ADHD and stress relief. These days everyone is using it for every reason but that.

Take makeup artist James Charles, for instance. Apparently he figured out how to use the arms of the fidget spinner as a tool for contouring. You know, to help draw those perfectly straight lines. It's kind of genius.

"FIDGET SPINNER CONTOURING?! Have you guys played with one of these things yet?! I thought they were so dumb at first but they really help with ADHD and they're so fun. Tag a friend who'd love this!" Charles captioned his video tutorial on Instagram.

As impressed as I am by how Charles managed to actually perfect contouring with this thing, you still need a makeup sponge. He used a beautyblender afterwards to blend it all in. The fidget spinner many not be the most practical makeup tool, but if it really does help relieve stress like they say, then what's better than feeling de-stressed while applying your makeup? I don't know about you but I'm SO about this!
