When Kylie Jenner first showed off her newly curvaceous figure about two years ago, I definitely rolled my eyes hard. Here's another white girl trying to flaunt a big butt, big boobs, thick legs and wide hips she wasn't actually born with. All you have to do is look at before pictures of Kylie to know that homegirl had a very lean and athletic bod before her procedures. But now she's banking from her new body with new merch called "Thick" for her Kylie Jenner Shop that opens up this week–I am pissed! Seriously, what does Kylie Jenner really know about being thick?

The clothes themselves are tacky.
Kylie’s new athleisure line consists of hoodies, matching sweatpants, sports bras and accessories. But who would actually want to wear merch that has the word “Thick” all over it?
Kylie modeling a line called “Thick” is just weird.
We don’t have concrete proof that Kylie has had plastic surgery, but before and after pictures highly suggest that she got work done to look as curvy as she is today. A few commenters feel that Kylie’s enhanced body doesn’t fit the category of thick. “Blac Chyna should wear these because she is actually thick,” wrote one. “Kylie Jenner thick of silicone,” wrote another.
The real issue behind this line.
One of the issues a lot of people have had with the Kardashian-Jenner clan is how they’ve managed to trademark and bank on things that were technically started by women of color. Black women have been wearing wigs, weaves and cornrows for years and faced a lot of discrimination because of it. They’ve also faced a lot of discrimination for their naturally thicker figures. But when a white girl like Kylie sports those things it's okay. See the problem here?
She does use women of color to model the merch.
One thing I do appreciate is that she uses a lot of women of color to model the line.
There’s also a focus on diversity.
The slogan for the line is “All Different Types #Thick.”
But there aren’t that many plus-sized women modeling the clothes.
With the exception of stunning Brazilian model, Barbie Ferreira.
What is her real intent?
I want to believe that Kylie created this line to celebrate fuller figures, not to trademark the term “Thick.” But I guess we’ll never really know.
