I been having problems sleeping lately and it shows all over my face. Puffy eyes isn't something I usually struggle with but with everything I've had on my plate lately and these giant puffs under my eyes, you'd think I just had an allergy attack or something. The other day it was so bad, my friend asked me whether I'd slept in my contacts again. She was like, "girl what's up with the bags?" And no, she wasn't referring to the designer kind!

Fortunately, I'm not going through anything too crazy. I've just been making a few major life changes that have me so stressed out (good stress though) I can hardly sleep. You don't want to come near me in the morning hours because I might just bite you. Yes, it's that serious. But just because I'm not sleeping doesn't mean I need the world to know it. So I started researching tips and products that help de-puff puffy eyes and to my surprise–most of them worked. Here are 5 ways to combat eye puffiness in a matter of minutes!
Try eye-cooling pads: Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels ($30) literally changed my life. These jelly-like pads de-puff your under-eye area within ten minutes. It also makes skin look firm, smooth and toned–I'm obsessed!
Tea bags: It might be the oldest trick in the book, but it actually works. All I do is dip two green tea bags (the caffeine in these makes it more effective) in a mug of hot water. Then I let them sit in the fridge until they get cold, I lay down and place them over my eyes for a good 10-15 minutes.
Cucumber slices: As cliché as it sounds, cucumber slices really do help soothe and hydrate the skin around your eyes. I use them whenever I'm out of my eye gels or green tea bags and they work every time!
Eye-roller: A friend of mine swears by Origins No Puffery Cooling Roll-On For Puffy Eyes ($25). Not only does it de-puff under-eye bags but it also brightens dark circles. It's a great on-the-go fix!
Eye cream: Dolce & Gabbana Aurealux Eye Gel Instant Revitaliser ($72) might seem pricey but it's well worth the investment. It's infused with olive oil, B3, and gold silk sericin that does miracles on tired-looking eyes. I mean miracles!
