No matter the age, weight or body type, most women fall prey to cellulite. The reason is simple: Cellulite is not only a result of the extra pounds or bad eating habits, it is also caused by hormonal changes, overproduction of estrogen and lack of exercise targeting specific problem areas. So, don't feel bad or ashamed if you are one of the many women who suffer from cellulite. But you'll be happy to know that there are various methods that can help you get rid of those very annoying little bumps and dimples. This coffee scrub, which you can make yourself at home, is one of them.

You may be asking yourself what coffee has to do with cellulite. Well, coffee is a rich source of antioxidants and, because of the caffeine found in it, when applied to the skin it improves blood flow, which helps in reducing fatty deposits under the skin. That's the reason why caffeine is used in most anti-cellulite creams, and coffee has become one of the most effective home remedies to treat cellulite.

Besides helping get rid of cellulite, this coffee scrub will also remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin soft and hydrated.

As you will note, I recommend using sweet orange oil for this scrub. This oil is very effective in getting rid of cellulite as it improves blood circulation and helps tighten the skin. It is used in spas for fat reduction massages and treatments.

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup of ground coffee

– 1/4 cup of sweet orange oil

Preparation and application:

In a bowl, mix both ingredients, adding more oil if necessary to obtain the right consistency, which should be like a creamy paste. Apply the mixture all ove the body, as you would with any other scrub. Massage the problem areas, such as thighs, abdomen and arms, with circular motion to activate blood flow. For better results, wrap problem areas with plastic wrap, and let it work for 20 minutes. Then, remove the wrap and take a warm shower.

After the treatment, I recommend applying an anti-cellulite cream to optimize results.

Repeat this treatment three times a week. Your body will thank you.
