A married San Diego couple have recently become an Internet sensation after a photo of the two of them was uploaded to Facebook and quickly went viral–and it's pretty clear why.
In the amazing picture, __Kelly and Jesse Cottl__e look happy and very in love as they pose and smile for the camera. But what really strikes you is the fact that Kelly is carrying her husband, a marine and double-amputee, on her back. See the entire photo below!

According to ABC News, the 28-year-old lost both of his legs in Afghanistan in 2009 after stepping on an IED–an incident that actually caught on video and later used in a documentary. He spent months recovering in the hospital and was attending a swim meet on one of his first outings with his new prosthetic legs when he first met Kelly.
The two, who got married last August, were recently on a trip to visit Kelly's family in Idaho, when they decided to have a few photos taken. One of the resulting photos was this now famous snapshot, which has racked up more than 7,000 likes, 500 shares and countless comments on Facebook since the photographer posted it to her page. And it's not hard to figure out why. How can a photo as sweet and touching as this one not strike a chord in the heart of everyone who sees it?
But while the rest of the world is left in awe of their courage and faith in the face of adversity, the Cottles say they are floored by all the attention and support–especially because for them, this was business as usual. In fact, Jesse told 10News that it's just how they get around sometimes and that the pose was completely unplanned.
Still, even he admits it is emblematic in some ways. "The photo really says it all," he said. "I actually look at it very much as a symbol for our whole relationship in general. She's physically carrying me, but there's times where she's carrying me emotionally. It's a perfect representation of who Kelly is."
Aww! Is that amazing or what?! When I first saw the photo, I, like many others, couldn't help but feel so moved by it. They are such a lovely couple and they just look so genuinely content and in love. I feel grateful that they decided to share their beautiful story with the rest of the world. Hearing it definitely brightened my day!
