Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she suffered a tragic miscarriage after becoming pregnant a third time.__ The Oscar winner caused an uproar last week over her children's questionable eating habits, but has now shocked us by exposing the miscarriage that almost claimed her life. In an interview with the U.K. Daily Mail, Paltrow intimately shares the details of the scare that has yet to discourage her from adding to her family with husband Chris Martin.
The actress, who has two other children, 8-year-old Apple and 6-year-old Moses with the Coldplay musician, expressed the heartbreak she went through when she was expecting her third child. The pregnancy which she says almost killed her is something many mothers can relate to whether they already have children or are expecting.

According to the Daily Mail interview, Paltrow shares that her kids are always asking for another sibling, and although she isn't against the idea, she dropped the bombshell about her miscarriage. "But I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn't work out and I nearly died. So I am like, 'Are we good here or should we go back and try again?,' '' she said.
Although it is unclear when Paltrow went through this tragic time in her life, she does admit that she feels "broody" when she's around Beyonce and Jay-Z's, daughter Blue Ivy. She says she loves Blue Ivy, and that she shares play dates with her kids (she even calls her "delish," cute!).
In an interview last August, Paltrow expressed doubt about having more children, but still hinted that she wouldn't mind the idea of it. "I'm so past that, I think I may have missed the window … If it happens, it happens," she said. But whether or not she plans on being a mom again, Paltrow makes it clear that her kids are her first, second, and third priority.
Mourning the loss of a life lost has to be one of the hardest things to go through for a mom, which is why I commend Paltrow for being brave enough to speak about it. For any woman, a miscarriage can either encourage or discourage her from trying to have a child again. Hopefully in Paltrow's case, she won't give up on the idea of having a little brother or sister for Apple and Moses.
