Here are 10 experiences we all go through that make us wish we were our moms:
1. When your baby falls and gets hurt and you have no idea how to make it better or how to treat the boo boo.
2. When people show up at your house all unexpectedly and you wish you could whip up something delicious out of nothing to feed them just like your mom does, but instead you offer them tap water and stale saltines.
3. When you really want a discount on something, but you are too embarrassed to ask for it and you know that if your mom were there she would ask with no shame and totally get it.
4. When someone you love is going through a tough time and you feel so awkward reaching out and wonder if you even should because you might be bothering them, but you know your mom wouldn't even think twice about it because when someone she loves is hurting, she's there!
5. When you look around at the mess you call home and wonder how it is that your mom has always kept such a clean home even when she was so busy doing other things.
6. When you realize that she has always been the most stylish woman you've ever known and she's not even really trying, she's just a natural.
7. When you go segundiando because your mother can find the best things at a thrift store every single time!
8. When she forgives you for being a jerk and you wonder if you'll ever be as forgiving.
9. When you want to give your kids that look that your mother gives you that to this day stops you in your tracks.
10. When you want to be sure that your kids know the way that you know about your own mother that no matter what, that even with all your flaws and all your mess ups you love them above all else.
