We always talk about how hard we women have it when it comes to beauty and body image. We browse through magazines and turn on our TVs only to find retouched models with flawless skin, perfect facial structures and near-impossible figures that seriously affects the way we view ourselves physically, whether we'd like to admit it or not.
But what about the guys? The fellas experience similar types of pressure from male models, celebs and professional sports players that make it seem like if you don't have a six-pack and incredibly muscular arms, that you're not attractive. British newspaper The Sun asked for anonymous "real" men to recreate poses from male models in underwear ads that will make any man feel more comfortable in his own skin. Wait until you see the results!

The mock ads show regular men posed like male models, replicating original advertisements. The fake ads say a whole lot about the nearly impossible body standards men have to deal with too. Funny thing is, I actually think they look better than the models. And apparently I'm not the only one, because these images have been all over the internet, including Reddit.com. Everyone thinks they look great!
Who would have thought men are just as affected by what they see in media as we women?
I personally think these non-models look better than the real models they're imitating. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a six-pack and sculpted arms, but I prefer my men a lot less perfect and more, well, real. So for all the men out there that feel like they can't compete with the David Beckhams and David Gandys of the world, we love you just the way you are–flabby stomach, chest hair, and all!
