When a celebrity is single, anyone is a potential love interest as far as fans are concerned. This is especially true for the Kar-Jenners. The reality TV stars have to be careful about who they're publicly photographed with if they want to avoid pesky dating rumors. However, if they don't mind the speculation, then they're free to do whatever they please—and that's exactly what Khloé Kardashian did when she posted photos of herself with actor Michele Morrone.
More from MamásLatinas: Khloé Kardashian's beauty transformation over the years
As of writing, Khloé's most recent, confirmed relationship was with Tristan Thompson, the father of her two children, True Thompson and Tatum Thompson. The NBA player and the Good American cofounder weathered multiple cheating scandals over the course of their on-again-off-again coupledom. They called it quits for good in December 2021 in the wake of Khloé learning Tristan had fathered a child with someone else while they were together.
Khloé has remained focused on amicably co-parenting her young children with Tristan since then. However, a fashion show date with a hunky thespian showed she might be ready to get back in the dating game. And her sister Kim Kardashian recently dished on her role in the pairing.
Kim was the one who tried setting up Khloé with Michele Morrone.
On June 15, a new episode of The Kardashians dropped on Hulu, and viewers got a behind-the-scenes look at how Khloé's fashion show date with Michele transpired. Kim found out the Italian actor—who stars in the steamy Netflix series 365 Days—had been invited to her Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Milan. Apparently, she jumped at the opportunity to set Khloé up with him at the September 22, 2022, event.
"At lunch, Domenico [Dolce] goes, 'Oh my gosh, you're never gonna guess who I invited to sit next to Khloé: the actor Michele Morrone,'" Kim told her friends on The Kardashians. "He's so hot. He's in the show. It's like soft porn practically, but it's a show on Netflix. So, let's fully set this up that Khloé falls in love in Milan. But she has no idea."
She wanted to help her sister 'get her mojo back.'
Evidently, Kim played matchmaker to her sister in order to help her get back in the dating game. "I am such a setter-upper," she said on the show. "And my plan for Khloé is to get her mojo back in Milan."
Khloé didn't seem to fight the setup too much, for the record. "I didn't know I lost my mojo, but I guess Kim definitely thinks I did, so we need to find that motherf****r somewhere," she said in a confessional. "I think he's super hot. He's, like, a man. I love a good man."
Khloé and Michele sat next to each other at Kim's fashion show—and were later photographed together.
On top of Michele and Khloé sitting next to each other during the fashion show, the actor also joined the group for dinner at an after-party. "Khloé's gonna die. Khloé's gonna be so excited. This guy has no clue we're doing a whole episode about him," Kim said on The Kardashians.
After the event, photos of Khloé and Michele sitting together at the show circulated online. Khloé also posted a photo of the pair posing backstage to her Instagram stories. Before fans start shipping the couple too hard, it's worth noting that Michele's rep told E! Online there was "no relationship to speak of at all" between them.
Kim also shared a checklist of traits she's looking for in a man.
In addition to playing matchmaker, Kim touched upon her own dating life in the June 15 episode of The Kardashians. She even revealed a list of traits she's looking for in a man.
"Number one, protect me. Number two, fight for me. Number three, good hygiene—I mean that's like a given, I think I should even take that off. Number four, calm. Number five, no mom or dad issues," she read off from a checklist on her phone.
On top of her ideal guy being supportive and having good teeth and patience, other must-have qualities included "spontaneous, fun, my friends and family love him, someone who can be a role model for my kids, especially that my boys can look up to."
Kim continued: "No heavy baggage—I have enough. Taller than me. Someone that loves to work out. A motivated person. An independent person that's not clingy and someone with good taste."
She has been texting a man code-named 'Fred' on 'The Kardashians.'
During the June 1 episode of The Kardashians, viewers learned Kim was texting with a potential romantic interest they code-named "Fred." The interaction began when Kim told Scott Disick, "My friends wanted me to meet someone."
Scott replied, "Let's call this guy 'Fred.' Does he meet the standards?"
"So meets the standards," Kim affirmed.
Later, Kim was texting during a confessional when a producer asked, "Is that Fred?" The producer responded, "Two years, my a**!" hinting that Kim had previously sworn off dating following her breakup with Pete Davidson.
Mystery men and sister setups aside, we hope both Kim and Khloé fall madly in love with the men of their dreams. Because, after all their previous heartbreak, they definitely deserve it.
