Literally no one could have predicted Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's relationship. Yet rumors of the unlikely pairing started flying in October 2021 after Kim hosted Saturday Night Live and shared a kiss with Pete for a skit. The couple dated publicly for a few months as fans kept up with their romance via red carpet appearances, Instagram posts, and new tattoos. Pete even made an appearance on The Kardashians.

Kim and Pete's relationship wasn't all sunshine and butterflies, though. Ex-husband Kanye West, who is the father of Kim's four children, publicly threatened Kim's new beau on Twitter and in a song. His track, "Eazy," contained the following lyrics: "Just so I can beat Pete Davidson's a** (who?)." Ultimately, Kim and Pete broke up in October 2022 after nine months of dating. They have kept relatively quiet about the reason for their split. However, in May 2023, Kim finally opened up about the circumstances surrounding the end of their coupledom.

Season three of The Kardashians premiered on Hulu on May 25, 2023—and with it came some highly anticipated information about Kim's relationship status. Although the Skims mogul was hesitant to speak on the subject, producers were able to coax some information out of her.
"OK, I'm single," Kim said during episode one, per E! Online. "I'm single and I'm not ready to mingle, and that's OK."

In the same episode, family friend and Kourtney Kardashian's ex Scott Disick asked Kim how she felt after her first breakup since divorcing Kanye.
"Breakups are just not my thing…I'm proud of myself," she told him. Kim also elaborated a bit on why she and Pete decided to end things. "We just had talks and talks, we had been talking about it," Kim shared. "So it was both of us just communicating really well about it. It's obviously sad."
Kim confessed she still has guilt about some aspects of her relationship with Pete.
Kim put things into perspective by pointing out that she's a serial monogamist and that she and Pete were together for nine months.
"I don't have, like, random hookups. You know what I mean?" she told Scott. Without name-dropping her ex-husband, she also referenced the threatening comments aimed at Pete while they were dating. "There was a lot of guilt," she said on the Hulu series. "He went through a lot because of my relationship."
Kim also spoke about her outlook on dating in the future.
So is Kim open to dating again in the future? It seems she's confident she'll one day find her "person," although it might not happen right away.
"I go back and forth in my feelings sometimes like, 'Uh, who's ever going to want to date me? I have four kids, I'm in my 40s, you know? Like, oh my God, who's going to want to deal with the drams?'" Kim said on The Kardashians. "But my person will be like, 'F**k all of that, it's gonna be hard but we're together and we're gonna do this.' So I'm just waiting for that person."
Is Kim single or dating now?
Although The Kardashians season three just started airing on Hulu, filming occurred months prior. Fans have naturally wondered if Kim has moved on with a new relationship between filming and now. As of writing, Kim has not publicly revealed she is dating anyone.
There were briefly rumors of Kim dating Tom Brady when she was spotted driving a golf cart in the members-only community of Baker's Bay Golf & Ocean Club in the Bahamas, where Tom Brady also owns a property. “Tom and Kim have been in touch because Kim is looking to buy property where Tom has a vacation home," a source told Entertainment Tonight.
