Homeless man returns diamond engagement ring & gets more than he could’ve ever dreamed of in return (VIDEO)

Billy Ray Harris__, a homeless man who often panhandled on on Kansas City's Country Club Plaza, made headlines when he returned an engagement ring that was left in his cup. The woman who inadvertantly dropped the ring after having taken it off earlier and putting it in with her change, was Sarah Darling.

When Harris found the ring in his cup, he took it to a local jewler who offered him $4,000 dollars on the spot. Harris could have certainly used the money, but instead he decided to hold on to the ring in hopes that its owner would return.

Sure enough a couple of days later, a mortified Darling returned and asked Harris about her lost ring. She was so touched to have Harris return the ring especially after hearing how much he had been offered for it, that she gave him all the money she had on her, but that just wasn't enough.

Later, Darling and her husband set up a website seeking donations for Harris. The response has been overwhelming with thousands donating hundreds of thousands of dollars. Because of those donations Harris is no longer homeless and now has a part-time job.

But the story doesn't end there. This is the kind of good deed that keeps doing good. Harris' sister, Robin Harris Williams, saw reports of Harris' good deed online and recognized him as the brother she hadn't seen in 16 years. Robin lives almost 500 miles away, in Wichita Falls, Texas. The Today show surprised Harris by reuniting him with his family sooner than expected.

Man, I love a good story with multiple happy endings!

Watch the joyful reunion!
