Valentine's Day is celebrated yearly on February 14, and it is usually a holiday reserved for couples who are celebrating their romantic love. For Latinos, the day is celebrated as a time to honor our friendships and the love we already have in our lives. If you are single on Valentine's Day, that is something that you can use to make the most of the holiday. Single moms have plenty of love to celebrate. Just because you don't have a partner, it doesn't mean that you aren't surrounded by plenty of people who adore you.

Carve out some well-deserved "me time" so you can get a massage to release any tension you have been harboring in your body. There are plenty of places that offer discounts, and websites like Groupon also have some great deals.

Celebrate Galentine's Day with your gals.

Galentine's Day is celebrated on February 13, the day before Valentine's Day, and it's the perfect day for the ladies to leave their men at home. Throw a party at your place, or head to brunch with your best girl friends, even the ones in relationships, so you can have a special day to celebrate the strong female friendships you have in your life.

Call up your single friends, and go out for a girls night.

Shake the V-Day blues away on the dance floor! Book a babysitter and head out for a night on the town with your other fellow single moms or friends. There is nothing a little good music and drinks can't fix, so put on your best heels and your prettiest dress, and have some fun!
