Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting their fourth child. The baby, which was conceived with the help of a surrogate, is due to be born any minute now. Kim might be more than a little bit nervous, which might explain why on Saturday, she hosted a CBD and meditation-themed baby shower for family and friends.

CBD is short for cannabidiol and is one of the chemical compounds found in marijuana plants. CBD is not considered to be psychoactive on its own because although it contains trace amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)–the stuff that gets you high in marijuana–the concentration is not enough to get you high.
Why choose CBD and meditation as a baby shower theme, though?
"I thought it was kind of ridiculous to have a fourth baby shower," Kim told guests. "But, I thought I'm freaking the f**k out having a fourth kid." Hence the whole CBD and meditation-theme to help her calm down and get ready.
Apparently, it's been how she survives in life.

The sound bath was delivered as promised.
A sound bath is a meditative experience in which you immerse yourself in the sounds made using various instruments that can include drums, Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks. The vibrations created are said to have healing properties.
Aside from the sound bath, guests also got to make CBD everything.
There were oils and bath salts available to create DIY CBD bath soaks. CBD is used to relieve pain, help with anxiety and depression, and has other potential health benefits.
On Sunday, Kim thanked guests and organizers.
"Yesterday I had my CBD baby shower!" wrote Kim via her Instagram Stories. She went on to thank guests and organizers for "making it happen."
Glad it was a success. Wishing Kim, Kanye, surrogate, and baby a safe, easy, and healthy delivery.
