It is a very special family trip in more ways than the obvious.
The Campos-Rivera family is very involved in their church and their faith is at the center of their lives. They traveled with two pastors and their baby Jordan.
What an incredible baptism!
To understand the importance of their travels, read what Jacqie's husband wrote about the incredibly special baptism of their baby:
My wife and I had a hard time naming Jordan. We didn't know what name to use or give him. We believe the name will empower him and give him confidence or condemn him… The Jordan river is a huge part for my wife and I, our marriage went they thru the Jordan River and thru a super ruff patch, divorce conversations, fights and hurt!! We made it thru to our promised land. Our marriage could[n't] be any more blessed and our promise a couple months later was conceived…. JORDAN LOVE CAMPOS.
Baby Jordan has it going on!
He looks amazing sitting at a pillar of the synagogue in the town of Chorazin. This was one of the towns that, according to the Bible, Jesus visited with the Apostles.
Visiting important places included in the bible must be amazing.
This is an iconic place in Israel, the El-Muhraqa, Mount Carmelite. It's mentioned in The Book of Eli.
What an amazing view from the Masada National Park.
It was home to palaces and was a fortress before Christ was born.
Praying in Gethsemane must be unforgettable.
This was the place where Jesus asked God to spare him the suffering of the crucifixion.
Jacqie took this picture at the Temple of Jerusalem.
It's the most sacred place for those of the Jewish faith and is part of the Old Testament.
Clearly, it's a trip the family will never forget.
"It was amazing to walk in Holy Land," wrote Mike Campos about their trip. "It's not a five star vacation, but it's a 1,000 stars trip. Thank you the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit."
It does sound amazing and unforgettable. Let's see if they show it now on The Riveras, the reality TV show featuring Jacqie and the rest of Jenni Rivera's kids.
