Your nipples change color
You may notice that breasts have changed color during pregnancy. This is due to an increase in hormones, which helps your body produce more melanin. This can change the pigment of your nipples, freckles and even scars.
They start to feel way fuller
Your breasts tend to become tender to the touch during your first trimester. As your pregnancy progresses, your cup size can increase between one to three sizes larger.
Your bras no longer fit
Don't be surprised if you try to clip your bra on and realize it no longer fits! Yes, these are real preggo problems! I ended up having to buy a handful of new bras and have no regrets.
You experience leakage
You may leak a thick, clear or yellowish substance known as pre-milk or colostrum. This typically occurs in your third trimester. Don't freak out! It's totally normal and you can wear nursing pads if they leak a lot.
They start itching like crazy
Since your skin is growing and stretching, it's normal to experience itching in the breast area during pregnancy. Applying lotion and cocoa butter could help ease the itch.
Getting them touched is painful
Your partner may be super excited about your new cup size, but getting frisky just won't feel good. Expect your breasts to be more sensitive than normal.
Your veins looks darker
Your blood supply is increased between 20% to 40% during pregnancy. The dark veins around the breasts are a sign of your high blood volume.
Your bathing suit tops no longer fit
Expect to invest in a new bathing suit if you're pregnant during summer. Your bikini top will no longer fit!
You start buying nursing bras
You don't have to kiss the cute bras goodbye, but you definitely want to start investing in nursing bras. They're more comfortable than the wire bras during pregnancy.
Everyone wants to comment on your new size
It's official–your boobs have become the topic of conversation when you meet up with your non-pregnant friends. Get used to the attention and soak it in!
