This is what miracles are made out of! A woman in China, who was struggling to get pregnant for five years, gave birth to five babies without any fertility treatment. The 33-year-old mom named Wu Junping and her husband, Zhang Yongli, were shocked when they heard the news. I think I would literally pass out if I heard I was pregnant with five babies! I thought carrying twins would be scary enough, but this woman is a saint. Unfortunately, the couple heard some bad news from the doctor after she gave birth.

The fifth child she gave birth to, a baby girl, didn't survive. I'm sure they were heartbroken over this. The little one will be an angel for the family, but it still must be a constant reminder staring at her other babies knowing that her daughter didn't have a chance to live.
The smallest baby weighed just 1 pound, 2 ounces. That is the tiniest baby! I can picture them all trying to share space in their mother's womb. According to Fox News, the four surviving babies are in intensive care. I can't imagine the roller coaster of emotions they must have faced.
Yongli admitted to the press:
We inquired about the possibility of having the number reduced, but were told that it wasn't possible to abort some babies without putting all [at] risk, and so we decided it was all or nothing and to take the risk. It was my wife's choice, and I supported her.
It must be so difficult to be faced with the decision to only save some of your children. As parents, I'm sure they tried to make the best practical decision, but decided not to put the other unborn babies at risk. Having five babies unexpectedly must be such an emotional and financial toll as much as it's a blessing. Only one out of 65 million women have the chance of this happening! Lucky indeed.
