Newborns don't talk. They gurgle, they are adorable and you will swear you can tell what they are trying to communicate at times, but they don't actually talk. That doesn't stop moms from talking to newborns and it shouldn't. Babies love to hear the sound of their mami's voice and they learn so much from it, but let's hope they don't remember everything they hear because mothers of newborns can say some pretty absurd things at times. Things they never would have imagined coming out of their mouths.

Here are 11 totally weird things that moms say to newborns:
1. You are so cute I want to eat you. I want to gobble you up. I'm gonna eat you up. Yes, I am.
2. You smell better than CRACK! I'm so addicted.
3. Who's my hairy little monkey? You're my hairy little monkey! Look at you, you have hair EVERYWHERE except your head.
4. One boobie coming right up, open wide. Yum, yummy, yum.
5. What's wrong with this chichi? Why don't you like it as much as the other? Your daddy likes it just fine.
6. I bet I can stick your whole foot in my mouth! See? I told you I could.
7. Can you please make a poo poo for mami? Mami needs you to make a poopie or I'm going to have to call the doctor.
8. If you go to sleep now, I promise you can have anything you want for the rest of your life.
9. Awww, who just threw up on mami? You did! You just threw up on mami. I love you.
10. There you are! Mama missed you so much. (This is said after only five minutes of being away from your baby.)
11. Why don't you sleep? Go to sleep, I'm begging you, go to sleep.
