Remember when everyone freaked out because Alicia Silverstone was feeding her baby chewed up food from her mouth? Don't worry if you don't remember because I'll put a video at the end to show you what I'm talking about–just trust me when I say that the internets freaked the funk out. Anyway, the point is that I thought it was kinda weird and perhaps a bit unsanitary. I'm all for being crunchy and granola, but come on, we're not birds for cryin' out loud, do we really need to masticate our kids' food and spit it into their mouths? I don't think so.
So, why is it that even though I found Alicia Silverstone feeding her baby chewed up food a tad gross, I find this video of a 2-year-old feeding her English bull terrier with her mouth so ridiculously cute? You'll have to watch it and tell me if you agree.

In this video, an adorable little girl puts treats in her mouth, human treats, not dog treats, and then leans forward ever so slightly so that her dog can gently remove them from her lips and eat them. There is no masticating of the food going on before the exchange, the dog isn't slobbering all over the child and what I really find adorable is how delicate this dog is with the little girl.
Now, normally, I would not recommend letting a child feed a dog this way because it could be dangerous, but strangely enough I really don't feel this child is in any sort of danger. Check it out!
