There is one thing that I know I will NEVER regret in my life and that is the father I chose for my children. He is a spectacular father every single day of the year. Seeing him with our daughters is one of the greatest joys of my life. I tell you this from the perspective of someone who didn't grow up having a relationship with her father. Truly, I never knew what I was missing until I became a mother and my husband showed me all that a father can be. Now I practically want to run up to every father I witness being a good father and thank them for what they are contributing to their child's life.
It's pretty easy to tell when you are in the presence of a great father, but just in case you need some help, I've got some clues for you.

Here are 5 signs that you are in the presence of a great father:
1. A great father spends quality time with his child. He holds his child, he look at his child, he loves his child unabashedly and lives to make that child happy. Like the dad in this video who makes his baby crack up for the first time. You can just tell this is one of the best moments in this father's life.
2. A great dad is proud of his child's accomplishments. The dad in this video is so happy and proud of his son for passing math. Not acing math, passing math. It's so sweet because the son had been failing and managed to raise his grade. The dad is overjoyed that his son passed.
3. A great dad creates beautiful memories with their child. This video of a father and son dominating the Jumbotron during an NCAA Tournament Championship game with a choreographed dance is fantastic, not just because it wowed the audience but because this is something that son will NEVER forget. The son and father spent time together working on their moves for the fun of it, for the fun of being father and son.
4. A great dad is a great sport. Okay, warning this video contains cursing, but it is funny as heck. It is a compilation of a son scaring the caca out of his father over and over again and the dad is the best sport about it. Clearly he is a great dad and a great sport.
5. A great dad is in it! By that I mean that he knows he's a daddy and he owns it, he's in it all the way like this daddy who make a hilarious parody of "I'm Sexy and I Know It" called "Im a Daddy and I Know It." Love it!
