Everything you need for your baby’s first teeth

My baby boy Antonio is 4 months already and I have been noticing for a little while that he is drooling a lot lately. He must be teething! I started to look into his teething and found children's dentists and midwives agree: Regular oral care right from birth is a must! Not only does it help remove bacteria, but also to gradually get babies used to a regular tooth brushing routine.

All of these teethers and oral care products are BPA and phthalate free and choke proof, but please whenever using anything new for baby, take precautions consult your health care provider first and never leave baby unattended while using any of these products especially if they are walking or running. This teether ($11) is awesome because your baby can hold it easily but the best part is that they can chew on food–frozen fruits, fresh fruit, whatever. The colors are vibrant for visual stimulation. It soothes baby's gums while encouraging to eat some yummy food. Mashed bananas, anyone? 6+ months

The Humphreys pellets are the classics! However, they're discontinued, but other brands, like these Hyland's Baby Teething Tablets ($8) have continued the tradition. They're drug-free and work like wonders to help relieve baby's teething pain. Toñito has reacted really well to them. I used them with my daughter about 20 years ago and now with my baby boy.
