His name is Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale!
Having been the lone female in No Doubt for so many years, Stefani is more than accustomed to holding her own when in a large group of boys–a great thing now that she has four varoncitos in her home: baby Apollo, 7-year-old Kingston, 5-year-old Zuma and, of course, her beloved hubby.
At 44, Stefani joins a growing number of women who are giving birth way past 35, which was long regarded as the "last call" age for those anticipating motherhood. Stefani herself has alluded to considering the pregnancy a miracle–just two years ago, in an interview with Marie Claire, Stefani lamented that she'd long wanted a third child but had been unable to fulfill that desire, choosing not to reveal any specifics but leading readers to speculate about possible miscarriages or conception challenges. Luckily, Stefani didn't give up hope–and it paid off!
Never ones to opt for traditional baby names, Stefani and Rossdale settled on Apollo for their youngest son and, while they offered no details on the name choice, we imagine it's a reference to the Greek God of Music and not NASA's lunar mission program.
