People always say that twins share a special bond, but 35-year-old identical sisters Heather Richardson and __Sarah Fidler r__ecently took their connection a step further than most. The British moms not only found out they were pregnant on the same day, they also ended up giving birth on the same exact day too!
Despite that there was only about a 400,000 in 1 chance of them going into labor on the same day, both sisters ended up giving birth on February 13. Wow, talk about overcoming incredible odds!

Heather underwent a C-section and gave birth to daughter Emelie Frances at around 1:20 a.m. At the same time that Emelie was being born, Sarah's contractions kicked in–despite that she was scheduled to have a completely different due date! She gave birth to son, Austin Gibbs, at 2:55 p.m.
"I honestly didn't think that I would go into labor at the same time. My contractions started at 1:20 a.m., the exact moment Emelie was born by C-section," Sarah told the Daily Express. So crazy!
The new moms are now both at the same hospital for their post-natal care in adjoining cubicles. Aww, how sweet is that? And what a great way to celebrate Valentines Day!
I love this story–maybe becuase I am really close to my older sister, despite being at two very different stages in life. In fact, she is currently pregnant with her first baby … and while I can't even imagine having a kid anytime soon, I have to admit, it would probably be a whole lot more appealing if I knew I had someone going through the same thing at the same time like these sisters did!
In any case, it's clear that these twins share an unbreakable bond and that their babies will be spending a lot of time together. Little Emelie and Austin are really lucky–it's almost like they'll have two moms! Not to mention, a best friend in each other.
