When expecting Oklahoma mom Brandi Ross started feeling contractions at around midnight last Thursday, she and her husband Jeff figured they had plenty of time to get to the hospital. After all, it would mark their THIRD trip there that day, as they had already been sent home by nurses twice for allegedly not being close enough to delivery. So just imagine their shock when the labor suddenly picked up speed and the couple had no other choice but to welcome the newest member of their family in a Walmart parking lot!
As if that wasn't crazy enough, the ENTIRE incident is captured on a recording of Jeff's call to 911. Listen to the panicked call after the jump!

Apparently, the two were still half an hour away from the hospital when Brandi realized there was no way they were going to make it in time.
"My wife's water just broke. She's in labor. She doesn't think we're going to make it to the hospital … OK, I just pulled into this Walmart," Jeff can be heard saying to the dispatcher. Meanwhile, Brandi can be heard screaming in panic in the background and demanding a doctor.
Just minutes later, their baby, Berkley Sullivan, was born in the front seat of their car. Thankfully, paramedics arrived within seconds of her birth and helped bring the exhausted family to safety. Despite the scary experience, both mom and baby are now doing OK and are at home with Jeff and their couple's eldest.
"[It was an] awesome, terrifying experience that I hope I never go through again!" Jeff said. Ha, I don't blame him!
Can you imagine giving birth like that?! Especially after already having gone–and been turned away from–the hospital TWICE? I'm just glad that both Brandi and little Berkley are happy and healthy now. One thing's for sure: they're never going to be able to look at a Walmart the same way!
