It's National Sister's Day and I'm celebrating even though I don't have a sister. I'll tell you why. First of all, I am a sister, I have a brother and he can tell you that I'm an awesome sister (except for when I'm not, but let's not bring that up right now). But the real reason that I am celebrating National Sister's Day is that I am the mother of two adorable sisters.
I just had no idea how amazing a bond between two sisters could be until I started raising sisters. Not for nothin', but I may have given birth to two of the most amazing sisters ever. Don't get mad, I said, "two of" so there is still room for other amazing sisters.

My daughters were born two years apart. They are 4 and 2 years old now. They are close and loving to each other. They look out for each other, they enjoy each other's company, they fight, they make up, and they can't seem to imagine life without the other.
I have no doubt that their relationship with each other is going to be one of the greatest love stories of their lives and I feel priviledged to witness it and I'm not gonna lie, maybe I'm a teeny tiny bit jealous that I don't have a sister.
So today, I'm going to tell my daughters that it is Sister's Day and they will give each other a hug and then I'll wrap two of the most amazing sisters in the world in my arms and smother them with kisses! Sisters rock!!!
