This year, there seemed to be a never ending amount of horror stories when it came to parents and their kids. Some were scary, others silly and others just plain bizarre. But whatever the case was, one thing is for sure: 2012 saw more than its fair share of downright BAD parenting.

Kim Ridley officially became one of the creepiest dads ever after he used provocative photos of his own daughter posing with various cars (seen to the left) to sell the vehicles online!
Tracey Hensley
Mother, Tracey Hensley, and grandmother, 51-year-old Beth Ann Hensley, were arrested after letting their toddlers smoke marijuana…and taking pictures of it!
William Bailey
William Bailey was arrested after he and his son got caught on tape making fun of a young girl with cerebral palsy. Way to set an example Dad!
Widowed mom
An unidentified Russian woman left her dead husband laying in a bed in her apartment for THREE years because she thought he would be resurrected. She even made her young kids take care of their father and "feed" him!
William Todd Lewallen
William Todd Lewallen was arrested after police found him asleep, under the influence of drugs or alcohol while his 18-month-old daughter was locked in a metal dog cage and his 4-year-old son was left naked outside in the cold!
Paul Alana & JoAnn Marie Drake
45-year-old Paul Alana Drake and his wife, 44-year-old JoAnn Marie, locked their adopted kids, a 14-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl, in a basement for an entire month, only letting them out to go to school.
Catherine Venusto
This mom of two and a former school district employee hacked into her kid's school system and changed her children's grades at least two times! And one of the times, all she did was change her son's grade from a 98 to a 99! Um…why?!
Lorraine Cuevas
34-year-old California mom Lorraine Cuevas, was sentenced to six months in jail after she let her two children skip a total of 116 days of middle school without a valid excuse.
