Amazing dad builds world’s best costume for wheelchair-bound son (VIDEO)

October means one big holiday: Halloween.__ Now while everyone is looking for costumes for this year's festivities, I found the BEST costume EVER. Last year, the dad of a little boy named Carter who suffers from a birth defect called Spina Fida, which has him confined to a wheelchair, came up with the cutest and most creative costume for him: an ice cream truck!

Spina Fida occurs when the backbone and spinal cord do not close before birth which can leave the person's legs partially or completely paralyzed. But Carter's dad's thoughtful costume idea took the internet by storm this weekend through a Facebook page titled Laugh It's Free. The amazing images has gone viral–and rightly so!

I was so touched when I first saw the image this weekend; it was amazingly sweet for Carter's dad to make him feel special on a day that might be difficult for him to pull off a costume like most kids.

Last Halloween, when the YouTube video with Carter in costume was first published, his father garnered praise from the entire community on Reddit. One user was so moved by the father's creation, he said: "Best. Dad. Ever. I shed a tear for this one." I totally agree, because it had the same effect on me!

I can guarantee you that Carter probably outshone all the other trick-or-treaters. I'm curious to see what his dad comes up with this year, and I'll be anticipating seeing pictures on the web as soon as Halloween is over! Maybe he can he can make a cool race car out of his chair this year, but we shall see…
