We know having your child be part of Team USA must be a source of great pride for any parent–but did you know how absolutely nerve-wracking it can also be? As the parents of 18-year-old gymnast Aly Raisman show, it can be downright tormenting!
In the video below, the very tense–but super cute–Lynn and Ricky Raisman can be seen watching on as their daughter finishes her bar routine. It's truly an emotional rollercoaster for them!

I love how their expressions go from worried to tense to happy to expectant and finally to jubilant–all in a span of less than 40 seconds! Aly's dad sums it up best at the end as he releases a pent-up scream–it is really an inside look into what the lives of an Olympic athlete must be!
We're happy that these adorable parents will get to see their daughter compete for gold–the United States Gymnastics Team champion advanced to the all-around competition in the coming days. And I'm already looking forward to seeing more of the Raismans!
