Many believe that a mother's love is a more powerful cure than anything else, but the case of Jamie Ogg officially proves it. When he was born prematurely at 27 weeks in March 2010 alongside his twin sister, doctors originally pronounced him dead…until his mother's touch revived him. Now, the "miracle baby" has just turned two years old.
After giving birth to Jamie and his sister Emily, Kate Ogg and her husband David were told that they had to say goodbye to their newborn boy. The nurses placed Jamie in Ogg's arms for a final hug, but after just 5 minutes, the baby began to move. Though doctor told the Oggs that these moves were just reflexive, the mother continued to hold him and soon, the boy opened his eyes. He even accepted some breast milk off of Ogg's finger.

"We'd resigned ourselves to the fact that we were going to lose him, and we were just trying to make the most of those last, precious moments," Ogg told the TODAY show in 2010.
Now, the family lives in New Zealand and both twins are developing normally and doing great, Ogg said.

Like I've said before, I'm not usually one to buy into tales of superstition, but this is one amazing miracle story! The whole incident is so remarkable and heart wrenching that I can't help but be relieved to learn that Jamie is doing so well. Can you imagine being told you lost your baby only to pick him up and feel him move in the next minute? Crazy! And it just goes to show the extraordinary abilities mothers have, especially when it comes to their children. Guess women really do run the world!
