Jennifer Lopez has been making a lot of real estate deals lately. In May, she and her hubby Ben Affleck bought themselves a Beverly Hills estate for $60.85 million, which they paid cash for, BTW. Then in August, they took out a $20 million loan out on their new pad. And now, the triple-threat entertainer has sold her Bel Air home she’s owned since 2016 for just shy of $34 million.

She put the 8-acre estate on the market in February while she and her legally married mister of over a year now were still shopping for their together-hopefully-forever place. Get this, though! The person who bought the place from J.Lo got a deal on it, paying less than the listing price.
Find out more about the deal and check out what the mystery buyer got for their money via a virtual tour!
Jennifer bought the place in 2016 for $28 million.
Before the property belonged to Jen, it belonged to actress Sela Ward and husband Howard Sherman. The gated estate encompasses almost 8 acres of land and is described in the listing as “a masterful one of a kind multi structure French Country refuge.”
There are bedrooms and bathrooms galore.
The main residence has nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. The main level of the house has a chef’s kitchen with built-in breakfast nook, a formal dining area, a main room with high ceilings, and a huge family room that includes a bar and opens up to an outdoor area with a three-sided infinity pool.
What else is on the property?
There’s a guest cottage, a lake, private hiking trails, a pagoda with its own fire pit, a 100-seat amphitheater, an outdoor shower, an organic vegetable garden, and even a putting green. It’s basically paradise on earth.
It was originally listed for $42.5 million.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the estate was originally listed for $42.5 million in February. It sold on October 23 for $33,950,000, so the new owner got a bit of deal.
Who bought the place?
It’s a mystery who bought Jen’s old digs. “My clients fell in love with the land,” Lea Porter, who reps the buyer, said.
I mean, who wouldn’t fall in love with a place like that? What is there not to love?
