Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married in a surprise Las Vegas wedding at the Little White Wedding Chapel on July 16, 2022. That means that they have officially been Mr. and Mrs. Affleck for two whole years now. So how is the couple celebrating their wedding anniversary amid all the divorce rumors that have been swirling around for quite some time?

I went to check J.Lo’s Instagram to see if she had posted a sweet tribute to her director hubby, but found nada. And Ben’s not really known for being effusive on social media so I didn't bother to look and see if he's posted anything. He doesn’t even have an Instagram account, which seems pretty on-brand for him.
Not that either one of them needs to be telling anyone how they are spending their anniversary, but you know, curious minds want to know. Here’s what I’ve gathered.
Jennifer might still be in the Hamptons, New York.
The Hamptons are on the East Coast. Ben and Jen reside on the West Coast. We know for sure that Jen’s been spending time in the Hamptons without Ben. She celebrated the Fourth of July there and shared some pictures of herself in a stunning field of flowers.
As of Sunday, July 14, she was in the Hamptons and she wasn’t alone.
She was spotted with spending time with Violet Affleck, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s daughter, and Violet’s bestie Cassidey Fralin. The bonus mom and bonus daughter were even photographed walking arm-in-arm. So cute!
Jen shared some of her summertime fun with Violet and Cassidey via her Instagram Stories. They all seem quite comfortable with each other as far as I can tell. You would think that if Jen and Ben were really on the brink of divorce that Violet might not really want to be hanging out with her soon to be ex-stepmom, but what do I know?
Meanwhile, Ben was in Los Angeles.
While Jen and Violet spend some quality time together on Sunday, Ben spent some quality time on his motorcycle across the country in Los Angeles. In other words, he and Jen were nowhere near each other over the weekend.
Again, this all went down on Sunday, so who’s to say that Bennifer haven’t found a way to come together and celebrate their anniversary? Love finds a way as they say. Or maybe they are fine celebrating apart.
Ben and Jen got legally married on July 16, 2022.
"We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out that love is patient. Twenty years of patience," Jen shared with fans via her newsletter after her surprise wedding, which was a very intimate affair. On August 20, 2022, the couple married again in a much more lavish wedding ceremony on Ben’s Georgia estate.
They were first engaged in 2002.
They first met on the set of the movie Gigli. At the time, Jennifer was still married to Cris Judd, her second husband. Her divorce to Cris was finalized in 2003, but not before Ben proposed in 2002.
They called off their scheduled 2003 wedding.
They were supposed to get married on September 14, 2003, but they decided to postpone the ceremony because the media attention was bonkers and threatened to ruin the ceremony.
"Due to the excessive media attention surrounding our wedding, we have decided to postpone the date," Bennifer said in the statement. "When we found ourselves seriously contemplating hiring three separate 'decoy brides' at three different locations, we realized that something was awry."
They broke up in 2004.
The postponed wedding never happened as Ben and Jen decided to call it quits in January 2004. They both went on to build families with other partners and then many years later, much to everyone's surprise, they found their way back to each other in 2021. Call me a sucker, but I'm still rooting for them to make it.
