Behind the scenes pics & details of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s baby shower

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got to be the guests of honor at an epic Disneyland-themed baby shower thrown for them by momager Kris Jenner. The baby shower was executed brilliantly with the help of celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss. Think retro Disney vibes here, there, everywhere. I mean, if you didn’t know any better you would think that the baby shower had been thrown at Disneyland using some old props they had in storage, but no, it was held at Kris Jenner’s house.

We’ve already shared some of the pictures of the event that made it onto social media right after the event, which went down in late September, but now we’ve got more to share. Plus, we’ve also got details that Kourtney shared about the baby shower via her website.

Kourtney knew what she wanted the theme to be.

According to her website, “Kourt wanted a vintage Disney theme, but then really gave up control in order to be surprised.” She did have a few items on her must have list, though. Can you guess what they were?

Kourtney insisted on having certain edible items available.

She requested that the party include Mickey pretzels with a side of nacho dipping sauce and churros. If you’ve ever indulged in those items at Disneyland yourself, then you understand why those were must-haves.

If you've never had the churros at Disneyland, you have been missing out.

If you've never had the churros at Disneyland, you have been missing out. I mean, churros are pretty good everywhere, if they are fresh, but somehow they are spectacular at Disneyland.

But, of course, there was way more to eat than just pretzels and churros.

There was fresh fruit, potions, bagels with Mickey-shaped cream cheese, and so much more. It's safe to say no one went hungry and there was a lot of brunchy type nibbles to choose from.

So, who executed the planning of the party?

The party was planned by Kourtney’s mom, Kris Jenner, and celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss. “As someone who loves aesthetics and details, I also have learned to love letting go and allowing people close to me to surprise me, which is the best feeling,” Kourtney shared on Poosh.

Surprise, there was a barbershop quartet!

There's no way that Kourtney wasn't surprised by the barber shop quartet that greeted guests at the party. At Disneyland they are called The Dapper Dans and are a crowd favorite.

There was so much attention to detail.

Guests could take home their own monogrammed vintage-style Mickey ears with them. Such a lovely keepsake, especially for the younger guests, even if no one who has ever loved Disney ever seems to outgrow that love.

The silhouette portraits are classic.

The party had its own silhouette booth, where guests could have their profile cut out from black paper. Each guest who did this had one copy to take home and Kourt and Travis kept a copy to put in a keepsake book.

There was a photo booth on hand.

Not just any photo booth, a vintage style photo booth that Kourtney and Travis turned into a kissing booth by the looks of some of the pictures they took in it. They both look incredibly happy.

Despite some vintage-style drama between sisters, Kim Kardashian was at the baby shower.

If you haven’t had a chance to watch any of season four of The Kardashians on Hulu, let me tell you that the season starts off with some serious beef between Kourtney and Kim. Fortunately, by the time the baby shower came around, things were good enough between the two that Kim was in attendance.
