Jenni Rivera died in December 2012. Her second husband, Juan López, Johnny and Jenicka's dad, her youngest kids, passed in July 2009, while in jail for drug trafficking.

Johnny should be busy getting ready for a new school year and the filming of The Riveras, the family's new reality TV show, which should air in a few months on NBC Universo.

It's clear some days the sadness just takes over.

Read what he wrote:

I miss my parents every single day, but there's those days where I miss them more than usual. Their absence becomes very present on random days. Today in particular I'm missing my Dad a lot. I hate the fact that he passed when I was so young because there's so much I didn't get to learn about him and the memories I do have, they fade away at times. I wonder at random moments how different my character would be if he was still here, especially right now since I'm going through my teen years. Would my opinions, my attitude, etc. be different? My parents were such a beautiful couple, but I think my favorite thing about them was how they were as best friends. Best divorced couple ever, I swear. @jennirivera I miss you, guys. A lot… To those who still have parents. At least one of them, do me a favor and go and give them a hug and tell them you love them. Please value them. God only gives you one Mom and one Dad. Make the best of them… #Dad #JuanMLopez #ElCinco #El5

It's quite hard to read it and not to feel his pain. Luckily, he has his siblings to support and love him.

¡Fuerza!

One of the best parts about work is that it's with them ❤️ #Family #TheRiveras #JenniVive
