My Broken Pieces tells her side of the story as a victim of abuse and how her sister Jenni Rivera has been her source of strength, even after her death in December 2012. It must be true: The youngest of the Rivera siblings has turned coals into diamonds and this is how she has done it.

The book
The book is about how Rosie has beat the odds, with the support of family, friends and her faith. Jenni's little sister will tell her side of the story about the sexual abuse she suffered by Jenni's first husband, and how she dealt with her sister death, among many other things.

She will also have inspirational messages and says the goal is to get more women to talk openly about their experiences with sexual abuse.
She has changed her body
Through her relationship with Alejandro Chabán and the Yes you can diet plan*,* Rivera has lost a significant amount of weight and has kept it off for the first time in her life, which she also says it has been healing.
She launched her own site and it's powerful
Parts of it are funny, others poignant, but Rosie Rivera is not the little Rivera sister anymore. She has found her voice and is not afraid to use it.

Apologized publicly to Chiquis
Although Rosie Rivera never defended Chiquis when Jenni Rivera was alive, she offered her a tearful apology in February 2014, for not saying that Jenni's eldest daughter never had an affair with her stepdad Esteban Loaiza.
