Incredible mom born with backward feet refuses to let it hold her back!

Wow, Wang Fang of Chongqing, China was born with backwards feet. I have never seen anything like it and I'm willing to bet you probably haven't either. You would think that having your feet face backwards would be challenging and perhaps keep you from being able to walk or lead a "normal" life, but Fang does not even consider herself disabled. In fact, she says, "I can run faster than most of my friends and have a regular job as a waitress in the family restaurant. There is no reason to class me as disabled." This woman is extraordinary and not just because of her feet.

Wang Fang born with backward feet

I find her attitude truly inspirational. She was born with both abnormal hands and feet as you can see from the above image. Doctors really did not expect her to be able to walk well, but she hasn't let the direction of her feet stop her from moving forward so to speak. She says, "I can walk as well as anyone else and even run faster than them. I'm like everyone else–except of course that I put my shoes on backwards."

Fang has a 5-year-old son who was born with regular facing feet just in case you were wondering. What a wonderful example this mother is setting for her child, don't you think? She's got a great attitude, she's hard-working, she refuses to see herself as being disabled and she doesn't let what others see as a physical abnormality get in the way of living her life to the fullest.

I'm blown away that Wang Fang works as a waitress, I've done that job before and you're not only on your feet your entire shift, you are hustling back and forth constantly.
