Just in case you needed a reminder that you're never too old to try something new, look no further than the story of a pair of Dutch abuelas, An and Ria. At 72 and 78 years old respectively, the two had never flown on airplane in their life. So when the company Vodaphone offered to fly them for Barcelona on a private jet to vacation together as part of their video series aimed at spotlighting various "life firsts," they wholeheartedly agreed.
Luckily, a camera was there to catch their reactions as they made their trip—and the video is so amazing, you just have to see it! Trust me, it's pretty much guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

As can be seen in the clip, An and Ria, whom had never met before agreeing to participate, start off by telling their individual stories. An was afraid of flying, and while her husband wanted to travel, she just could not get past her fears. Ria, on the other hand, wanted to fly away for a vacation, but her late husband was the one with the fear of flying. Now, they finally got their chance.
Before taking off, Ria also got on a rollercoaster for the first time (another amazing moment you have to see). Meanwhile, An required a little pre-flight training with a flight simulator and a counselor who would help ease her fears. But when it came time to finally leave, nervousness turned to excitement for the both of them and the rest of their trip is just a joy to watch.
It just goes to show there's always more to be discovered in life!
