We don't think twice about bathing or showering on a daily basis, but one man hasn't done it in 60 years. Yes, 60 YEARS! Amou Haji is an 80-year-old man from Iran and told the Tehran Times that he stopped bathing many years ago because he got sick everytime he did.
In addition to his unhygienic lifestyle, he lives in an isolated area in Southern Iran and has no plans of changing his ways anytime soon.

Haji is considered the world's dirtiest man and says the thought of bathing makes him angry. He explains that he ended up living the way he does after experiencing emotional setbacks and other issues during his childhood. As a result he preferred to live alone, isolated from the rest of the world.
To survive, Haji says his favorite food to eat is rotten porcupine meat and he makes sure to drink water from a rusty oil can daily. He also smokes animal feces in a pipe and says he hates the idea of being in contact with water, eating fresh food, and clean drinking water. He doesn't even have an actual place to live and calls the earth his home.
In fact, Haji says he is happier than people who live in fancy homes and have lots of money. Because of this reason, he claims that he has nothing to lose, nothing to fear. Aw! It sounds like this man has the right life perspective.
I feel terrible that he had to experience such a bad upbringing that he ended up settling for this lifestyle. Although it is unorthodox, at least Haji is happy with himself and his life. I am concerned about his health because it can't be good too just live off of rotted animal carcasses, dirty water, and smoking feces for so long. But he must be doing something right, since he's 80 and still kicking!
