SEE: Widower recreates wedding pics with his 3-year-old daughter, have tissues ready

We've all seen those hilarious recreations of embarrassing or cheesy childhood photos that have made us burst out laughing. But t__he wedding photos recreated by one husband in Ohio will make you cry.__ That's because Ben Nunery lost his wife Ali to a rare form of lung cancer in 2011, right after celebrating their only daughter's first birthday.

Recently, Ben decided it was time for him and his now 3-year-old daughter Olivia to move out of the home they had shared with Ali and start a new chapter in their lives. But not before recreating some of the wedding photos the couple had taken at their brand new home–this time with Olivia taking Ali's place.

The result is both beautiful and heartbreaking and, according to Ben, it was sad and conforting at the same time. As he wrote on his blog:

I did it for me. I did it for us. I did it so I would have something to show for the love and beauty that occupied that house for a short time in our lives. I wanted to be able to show Olivia the place where her mother and I started our lives together and dreamed of raising children.

Ali and Ben closed on their house the day before their wedding. So Ali asked her sister Melanie to take their wedding photos there.

Ben has said that it wasn't until they left the empty house after the photo shoot that he realized those "would be the last memories in that house."

This is probably one of my favorite ones. The way both Ali and, years later, Olivia are looking at Ben is priceless.

Another gorgeous photo recreated by Ali's sister. I'm not sure if I'd been able to do the same as Ben, but these will surely be great for Olivia to have as she gets older.

According to Melanie, the original photo shows her sister Ali coming down the stairs and Ben seeing her for the first time.

As they were getting their last belongings packed up, little Olivia found her mom's curling iron and attempted to do as she had done on her wedding day.
