Pick a project

Make a to-do list or pick one (or more) summer projects that you want to finish this summer.  It shouldn't be anything too demanding or time-consuming. Instead, just stick to fun activities you'll actually look forward to–like finally getting to that book thats been sitting on your table for months or trying that new restaurant around the block.

Throw a party

Everyone is more social during the summer, so take advantage of it and throw a party. Or if you'd prefer something more low-key, break out some wine and host a girl's night. It'll be a chance to enjoy at least one more fun summer night with all of your closest friends.

Invest time in your loved ones

Fill the rest of those precious summer days by spending some quality time with your kids, relatives, and close friends–even if that means something as simple as having family dinners or movie nights.

Go outdoors

If you don't soak up that sunshine while you can, you'll regret it when winter hits. Go hiking or hit the beach. Not your thing? Take a book and head outside or make a point of eating your lunch or dinner outdoors. At least you'll be getting some fresh air!

Rest!

You won't enjoy any of those summer activities if you're falling down from exhaustion. So make sure you also take some time to just relax.
