This woman swears she’s too pretty to get a job!

Imagine being so ridiculously good looking that working just wasn't an option for you. That's what Laura Fernee claims. The 33-year-old British woman claims that she had to quit working in a lab in 2008 due to all the sexual harassment she received.

In fact, she says her good looks caused her to quit the workforce altogether! You're probably wondering; how does this damsel even survive without a job? The answer will cause you to shake your head in disgust–that's if you haven't done so already…

Fernee tells The Daily Mail that she was constantly bullied and harassed in the workplace because of her beauty. Men wanted to be with her and women were jealous of her–so she claims. Therefore she quit her last job and now is supported by her wealthy parents.

Using money she inherited from her grandfather, Fernee's parents pay for her apartment, credit card bills, designer clothes, a fancy gym membership, and for her social life. She claims that she isn't lazy or dumb, but that her looks have kept her from keeping employment due to the treatment she receives.

She also says that she was constantly showered with gifts and asked out by men at the workplace and that they found her attractive even without makeup on and wearing scrubs. "I wanted them to recognize my achievements and my professionalism but all they saw was my face and body," she said.

Meanwhile, she claims other women thought that she was dumb because she was pretty. Thus, the solution for her was to quit working. "The truth is my good looks have caused massive problems for me when it comes to employment, so I've made the decision that employment just isn't for me at the moment. It's not my fault … I can't help the way I look," she said defending her decision.

Not to sound crass, but this woman sounds like a completely self-absorbed a-hole. I've heard of women suing for being sexually harassed in the workplace, but I've never heard of one saying she was "too good looking" to work in general. I'm sure any job field that has men outnumbering women faces these types of issues every day. It's not right, but it's not uncommon either, and she's a perfectly capable woman who shouldn't mooch off of her parents.

I'm sure there will be some sucker out there willing to marry her, but he may just leave her when he realizes she thinks she's too "pretty" to do housework too.
