Meet the blind dog with a seeing-eye cat!

It's possibly the sweetest story you'll hear all year and, yes, I realize that it's only January second but that is just HOW CUTE this is: meet 8-year-old blind dog Terfel and his seeing cat buddy Pwditat!

That's right, there is an adorable cat-and-dog duo in the United Kingdom who have been friends ever since the tomcat showed up at his new owner's Rhydwen, Holyhead, home four years ago–and immediately gravitated toward the blind dog. They have been inseparable ever since! Now, let's cue the "awwwwwwwws".

I honestly can't imagine a sweeter story. A few years ago, my parents got a Chihuahua puppy for my mom and a tabby kitten for my brother and the two became fast friends. They would constantly play together and even cuddle up in the puppy's cage. So I can only imagine how the friendship between Pwditat and Terfel is even MORE adorable than that.

The pets' 87-year-old owner, Judy Godfrey-Brown, a retired civil servant, explains the unusual friendship:

One night a tomcat arrived here. He just stood there outside my front door and looked at me as to say: 'I want to be a house cat'. It went straight to Terfel. The cat knew there was something wrong with the dog. They seem to be glued to each other. They sleep together and now Pwditat has become Terfel's guide.

Seriously, how AMAZING is that? This cat isn't even a TRAINED seeing eye feline, he just knew what to do by instinct to help his canine friend. The story is enough to warm your heart, isn't it? I am really inspired by their friendship.
