All 13-year-old Jared Stevens wanted to do was fight in a competitive wrestling match and win for his school's team. The problem? Stevens suffers from cerebral palsy and is physically equivalent to a six-month-old. So when it came time to match up wrestlers, his coach–not wanting to take Stevens out of the competition–did the only thing he could do: Called the coach at the other school and asked him to point him toward "the kid who has the kindest heart."
The resulting match was captured on tape and the video, which has since gone viral and garnered more than 240,000 views on YouTube, is probably the most heartwarming thing I've seen in a long time!
In the clip, Stevens is matched against fellow competitor, Justin Kievit. As Stevens lays on the floor and the match starts, 12-year-old Kievit does an amazing and incredibly selfless thing. He lays on the floor next to him and helps Stevens wrap his arm around him in a headlock to help him win the match. After a few seconds in which Kievit "struggles" against Stevens' hold, the whistle is blown and Stevens is declared the winner, bringing the crowd to a roaring applause.

Is that not the sweetest thing you've ever seen? Watching Kievit make such a kind gesture literally brought tears to my eyes. Lots of kids would've refused to do what he did, but he was so gracious and mature about the whole thing. If I was one of his parents, I would be so proud!
And I love that, with a little help and determinations, Stevens was able to reach his goal. To practice with the wrestling team and insist on competing can't be easy for him, but he does so anyway. What a brave kid!
