Everyone loves a good surprise from time to time, but two boys from Missouri who became good friends last summer got the surprise of a lifetime after they found out that they were biological brothers! The kids, 12-year-old Isaac Noltin and 13-year old Dakotah Zimmer realized they had a lot more in common than they thought when they first met.
Read on to find out the incredible story of these two amazing boys…
As it turns out, their biological mother had gotten pregnant when she was 16 and gave up Isaac for adoption; however, she got pregnant again shortly after giving up Isaac. Isaac was later adopted by Dawn Noltin who knew that one day she would have to tell him the truth about his biological mother and the fact that he had an older brother.

According to the U.K. Daily Mail, Dakotah reavealed to his new friend Isaac that he had a brother he never met who was adopted by a woman named Dawn. Isaac became curious to find out if this was just a coincidence or a possibility and asked his adoptive mother about his past. And his theory turned out to be true! Noltin revealed to Isaac that she met his mother years ago through her ex-husband when his mom had just given birth to him. Since his mom already had Dakotah, she knew having an extra child would be a handful which is when Dawn offered to care for him as her own.
Eventually the boys' biological grandmother contacted Dawn asking her if she wanted to adopt Isaac since his mom was pregnant again. She agreed, but sadly since then the boys' biological mother and father passed away. Dakotah and his older sister Ashley were then left with their grandmother, Debi Bay, who cared for them and was elated by her grandson's recent discovery. She puts this story best when she said: "It's like they never separated."
I couldn't picture a happier ending–or beginning–to this story. It's amazing to see that despite all those years apart, the brothers were able to find their way back to each other. Perhaps it's an innate feeling we all must have that acts up if we are ever separated from our biological family. It's sad to know that their biological parents died, but at least they were in good hands and cared for by kind hearted people. Hopefully these brothers can maintain their healthy friendship and amazing relationship!
