Love her or hate her, there is no denying that Chiquis Rivera is one hot tamale. I mean, the girl has curves for DAYS and what I love most about her is that she really embraces her body type and makes an effort to encourage her female fans to love their bodies too. There aren't really all that many Latina celebrities out there making this kind of effort to encourage us to love ourselves, curves and all, so kudos to Chiquis for being a great role model when it comes to self-esteem and body image.
That's why I LOVED this adorable video she recently posted to her Instagram and Facebook pages so much. You know that megahit song that's playing on the radio in almost constant rotation right now, "All About That Bass"?

Well, Chiquis decided to treat her fans to a little cover of the song and it's AMAZING! First of all, I have serious issues with the fact that that having a bit of junk in your trunk is all of a sudden trendy. So of course, a bunch of gringas have embraced it and are claiming to be "bringing that booty back". Sorry Ms.Trainor, but the big booty never went anywhere and YOU my friend, are most definitely NOT bringing it back. Big booties have been around forever, and will be around long after your pop career is over–just ask any Latina or Black girl who's been walking around with a big old booty whether or not they were waiting for it to be "trendy" to love their bodys.
