Heavenly strawberry and cottage cheese breakfast smoothie (RECIPE)

Something I absolutely love about this strawberry and cottage cheese smoothie is that even though it looks like the ultimate diet sin, this particular recipe won't jeopardize my efforts to lose those few extra pounds left over from my friend's wedding weekend celebrations. This smoothie is a gift to my sweet tooth, and is perfect for breakfast when I'm steering clear of too much fat in my diet. Thank God and Mother Earth for berries, mint, honey and vanilla! I hope you love them as much as I do!

Makes: 1 smoothie

2/3 cup fresh strawberries or unsweetened frozen strawberries
1 cup of low fat milk
1/3 low fat cottage cheese
1 tablespoon of 100 percent natural honey
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of ice
Optional, a few mint leafs for garnish

Directions:
1. Mix all of the ingredients, except for the ice, in a blender. Blend until well mixed. 
2. Add the ice and pulse. Garnish with mint.
3. Enjoy!
